The German School Association of Greater St. Louis is always interested in connecting with enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about the German language and culture. While we may not always have immediate openings, we gladly accept applications throughout the year for future teaching and teaching assistant opportunities.
If you enjoy working with children or adults and would like to become part of our dedicated team, we encourage you to apply. We review applications as positions become available and will contact qualified candidates when a suitable opportunity arises.
Teacher for Adult or Children's Classes
Open to teach Saturday mornings, 9 am – noon, on-site/in-person (adult or children's classes), or Thursday evenings, 6–9 pm, online (adult classes only).
Who should apply? German teachers and/or native speakers who enjoy teaching adults or children.
Our teachers:
- Are part of a highly motivated and enthusiastic team
- Are paid for their teaching hours
- Can bring their children and spouses free-of-charge to the school
- Receive the books needed for teaching their specific class
- Can make copies on-site before classes start
- Can use CLEVER TOUCH boards in the classroom
- Have access to a list of substitute teachers
Our school year: Beginning of September – mid-May, taught in 30 three-hour sessions.
